1. Scope
This policy applies to Plaspy domains, including www.plaspy.com, and to Plaspy’s Android and iOS mobile applications (insofar as they use device storage technologies such as SDKs and local storage).
Technologies equivalent to cookies (e.g., LocalStorage, SessionStorage, SDKs, advertising identifiers, web beacons) are treated in the same way when they can identify or make a natural person identifiable.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored in the browser that allow, among other things, user authentication, preference storage, audience measurement, and content personalization.
When these technologies make it possible to identify (or potentially identify) an individual, their use in Colombia is governed by Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013, which require prior, express, and informed authorization, except for those cookies strictly necessary to provide the requested service.
3. Legal Basis
- Strictly necessary cookies (security, authentication, anti-fraud): Legitimate interest of the controller to provide the service requested by the user.
- Non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising/remarketing, maps/embeds, video, support): Consent from the user, obtained prior to installation through the banner or preferences manager.

5. Consent management (banner and preferences center)
When you first visit our website, a banner is displayed that:
a) explains the use of cookies;
b) offers “Accept all,” “Reject all,” and “Customize” options; and
c) links to this policy.
By default, only strictly necessary cookies are loaded. Analytics, marketing, and embedded services remain blocked until you make your choice.
We keep a record of your consent (date/time, policy version, preferences) for compliance purposes.
You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the Cookie Preferences Center (permanent link in the website footer).
Legal framework in Colombia: Authorization must be prior, express, and informed (not implied) when cookies identify an individual, in accordance with Law 1581/2012, Decree 1377/2013, and the guidelines of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
6. How to manage or delete cookies from your browser
If you prefer to restrict or delete cookies, you can do so through your browser settings.
General steps (may vary by version):
If you delete or block essential cookies, some Plaspy features may not function properly.

b) periodically reviewing the banner/CMP and prior blocking settings;
c) managing requests and inquiries related to cookies and data transfers;
d) keeping records of consent and conducting impact assessments when applicable.
